I heard of running the master wide open and dialing in the volume as required, and frankly, I am intrigued. I can't wait to get to the rehersal hall early and try that....
I also have a new (to Me) setting for my ME50's governor setting that I am anxious to try! Thanx Guys!

I've since in fact had a hard bypass pot installed and now I play with the master truly open all the time. I have a Wampler Decibel to slam the pre tubes harder and then I just feed that to the power stage until I find my sweet spot. I will have a tone stack bypass installed next as I dime all my tone now too.
