So the sucker is switching back and forth from "CLEAN TO DIRTY" all by its self. And Its got no output!

First thought "Oh, it's got to be R78 & R79"......check em out and NOPE!!

No output "Oh, It's got to be a Bad Power Tube.....Yes and no....only one was bad, so I change them and still NO OUTPUT??? HERE WAS MY FIX....

1) Problem with random switching was the input switch on the Original Fender Footswitch (it was loose on the board! I re-flowed and VIOLAAA! No more Random Switching.

2) No Output was just simply a BURNT Phase inverter tube.

Just thought I'd share with all the board members.....anyone want to chime in with similar instances would be welcomed. :P

Good job Ryan41018.

Well, the other day I plugged a guitar cable into an amp and switched the standby to play and got some hum that shouldn't have been there, and no output when strumming the guitar. While I was looking in the back of the amp trying to see what was wrong, a friend noticed that my guitar was plugged into another amp, and the cable that I plugged in wasn't connected to anything.

Another time, I was swapping speaker cabs around between my HRDlx and BJr and ended up plugging the external speaker jack of my HRDlx into the speaker jack of my BJr. I played the HRDlx and a friend played the BJr, both connected to the same speaker in the HRDlx, and we didn't even notice until we were done about an hour later. :o No damage and both amps still work fine.

Now I am more careful to not have so many amps, cables and guitars out at the same time. :!:
