please help me any one answer this issue on my fender supersonic 60 combo. a couple of days ago i was playing normally in my amp next day i turn it on and noticed the pilot light wont light up and also no power in any of the tubes coming. it all seemed like a fuse issue, so i ordered some new fuses with right specs and everything and replaced the fuse but still no power in the amp. so i guess it wasnt a fuse issue. one curious thing is that the channel leds do light(vibrolux/bassman and burn channel LEDs) they seem to work fine but still no sound coming from the amp. anyone can help me please. i feel really bad since its a expensive amp and now i cant use it anymore...... :(

Hi manureggae,

Sounds like the F2 fuse is blown, indicating a possible tube problem. If the F1 fuse was blown, there would be no lights at all. The F2 fuse, time-delay 10 amp (slo-blow), is in the supply for the tube heaters and pilot light, and is inside on the circuit board. The F1 fuse, fast-acting 3 amp, is the one on the outside of the amp.

It's hard to say which tube might be the problem, but likely an output tube. If you don't have a tube tester, pull the output tubes, replace the F2 fuse and power up. If everything looks normal (preamp tubes light up, pilot light lit), then you might have a bad output tube.

You can test fuses with an ohmmeter or visually inspect to see if blown.

Cool! That fuse has nothing to do with bias, and it wouldn't blow even if the tubes were red-plating, unless the tube arced or shorted. The fuse blowing could just be a glitch, but usually a blown fuse is a symptom and not the problem. If it happens again, there is almost certainly a tube problem.

Here is the schematic in case you don't have it.

Solved my problem thanks. My blonde supersonic combo 60 watts pilot light wouldn’t light, and tubes had no power.

Took out tubes and screws to pull out circuit board, and found the F2 fuse. It is a larger fuse which had solder leak out corner.

Saw fuse was A10 250v 10a. Got a pack of T A10 250v 10a odd Amazon Prime. These were tinier than one pulled out but circuit board designed to accept both.

Totally worked, amp is working great!

Maybe have been running TC Electronics M2000 effects on Pro mode (high output).

F2 should be a Time delay fuse, normal fuse may won't last. You look to have ordered the right one.

I don't understand why this fuse blow, you mays have a bad solder or bad contact somewhere in heater circuit
