Hi all,

I'm about to change the valves in my uncles fender super 60 combo, according to him for the second time since 1989. I think the preamp tubes are even still the original fender ones.

From what I've researched it is a fixed bias amp, but the only schematic I've found only has an "Optional bias adjustment circuit".

Can anyone shed any light on these amps? Do most of them have the "Optional circuit" or can i expect a mesa style non-adjustable fixed bias set up? Or is the schematic I've found rubbish.

Since you have to open the amp up to change tubes, I suggest you check to see if the circuit is present in your amp.
