could be; didn't see inside the one my friend bought, but it sounded great.

This looks to be one shot from inside - would be interesting if they actually used better componentry on these (I'm just hoping) and same on the 57 Bandmaster.

The problem is as always is that the EC Tweeds are overpriced by quite a bit, mostly because it has EC on the front. Did you notice each amp in the series goes up a grand? I'll bet the average player wouldn't be able to tell the difference between the Clapton Champ and a stock champ. A grand for a Champ in any configuration is IMO ridiculous. An attenuator in a Champ?

No thanks, I'll build my own. Premium components? Some of the pedals I've built have a higher parts count. The most expensive thing in that amp are the transformers. I've tried them and they're nice but not at that price.

Yep, you guessed it, same components from the PJr up to the custom amps. They don't exactly reserve any better components for the high-dollar amps. IC caps all-the-way baby!

So durable and well-engineered that NASA now uses them exclusively in their manned spaceflight program......

MORE amps?
More amps?

No, sorry. I can't get behind that one.

I'm with the others here.
They should fix what they have already before all other considerations.
If every amp they made was reliable and soulful and they still didn't have something you liked then maybe ....

I actually sort of agree with both. It would be nice to see new ones, but they shouldn't do it until they get the bugs out of what they have already.

I wish they would get the Supersonic 22 to work right. I think it sounds great but I keep on hearing about so many issues.

I would like to see more Pawn Shop amps. Get creative with the vintage vibe. Stick with old school single channel amps that would be good for small clubs.

I think that the Excelsior was an amazing amp for the money. It looked good and sounded good. The price is right. What about a hybrid circuit? They can certainly think outside of the box and retain vintage vibe and tone. What about a lower wattage Tweed Bassman... That would be a great amp.

Instead of pining your heart away like some little kid over a lost puppy for an amp that's never likely to materialize, why not find yourself a 5F4 tweed Super? That's two 10's at about 28 watts -- precisely what you seem to want.

I would like to see fender do some re-issues of some of their amps from the 1980's such as the made in Japan Sidekick series, or the USA made, Red Knob SS models like the Stage 185 , Studio 85 , Fender 85, etc. I own a mint condition Studio 85 and IMO, those amps have much better sound compared to a lot of the product that is coming out today .

I'd like to see them go in the opposite direction. Do all the old Tweeds and Brownie's. Built the same way they were designed so I can have a real production amp and not one filled with garbage components and ribbon cables that will last at least 30 years before you need to do some work on them. Those 80's amps disappeared for a reason. They were a huge departure from the great sounding reliable gear that came before it.
