Both amps were connected in parallel with the 1x12 cab. Using both outputs of the HRDlx switches that amp to the 4 ohm OT tap, both HRDlx outputs are parallel, so both amp outputs were connected in parallel, both sharing the same speaker. I know, I had to scratch my head on that one too. I probably would never have tried that on purpose, but it worked well. I have used two guitars into one amp before, but never two amps on one speaker.

Wow!

Yeah so technically achievable but most definitely not advisable, unlike using unmatched impedance speakers to amps, which is totally ok :D

Hi guys, Recently exchanged my hot rod deluxe III for my second fender excelsior and some money for a multieffects, I'm pretty exited to run my new stereo rig, planing to have one excelsior on dark channel and the second on bright, what you think? should I get the Fender mustang Floor or the T-rex Magnus (not into boss, line6, vox etc...)? here is a photo of my sweet and sour twins Image

Music to play from guns and roses to the winnery dogs rock style.

Sounds interesting. I bet that the two amps from a stereo effect unit would sound really good.

Today I tried the fender mustang iii amp, it sounded great in comparison to other digital multieffects that I've tried, but not better in tone compared to the T-rex Magnus, so I'll get the Magnus, thanks guys keep you informed.
