Wow! I was walking passed the drop off at Goodwill and saw this Fender amp outside. It has brown covering, two large Jensen speakers, a rubber handle (like a Hot Rod Deluxe) and Power and Standby switches on the back.

I walked in and asked the cashier if I could buy the amp (not even knowing what it was) and she said it had to go through production. She said it could be out later today but most likely tomorrow. I'm going back later tonight and tomorrow morning to see if it is there. I'm guessing it will most likely end up on their website, ShopGoodwill. I have heard that all the good stuff they get ends up on there.

I thought about asking the attendant if I could have the amp but I'm shy and felt weird about it. It seems so crazy to me that someone would give this stuff away. The person who owned it could have put it on CL and made at least a few hundred.

If I end up purchasing the amp I'll post a picture.

Here's a picture I took from the car: Image

That looks to be a 6G5 Pro Amp that someone modded into a 2 x 12 configuration. It's still worth a substantial amount of $$$ though.

Good eye to spot that!

I wonder how/why it's even there and what issues it must have?
