I purchased a Deluxe 90 a while back, and it doesn't have the reverb tank in it. Can I use the MOD 9AB2C1B Reverb Tank($20.00 plus shipping on Ebay), as I cannot seem to find a stock tank anywhere for under $100.00 which is a bit out of my budget.

I'm a casual player, just tired of running a separate pedal for digital reverb, when the tank has a unique sound that I enjoy.

Hi Dadfish,

Unless I misread the part number, I believe that the correct tank would be a 8EB2C1B, same as for the BJr. The "8" is the type/size and the "EB" indicates the input and output impedance. The type 9 (16-3/4") is nearly twice as long as the type 8 (9-1/4"), and the A is 8 ohm input impedance vs the E which is 600 ohm input impedance, which is quite a difference. I doubt if the type 9AB would fit (maybe barely) or work well in your amp.

You can get a new 8EB2C1B for about $17.50 for a MOD, or about $23.95 for an Accutronics. The Accutronics are no longer US made, they are now made in Korea. I just ordered a MOD for a Peavey amp and expect that it is as good as the Accutronics....we'll see.

Here is some info about reverb tanks and what the numbers and letters mean.
