Some days ago I got the plastic input jack from my Fender Bronco tweed amp broken and recieved some help in here about the recommended jack replacement.

...but now I cannot figured out how to reach the PCB solders side in order to do it. This chassis has two metal pieces in an U-shape assembly and cannot identify the screws or locks to separate them.

Once I have the U-shaped chrome chassis on my hands without chicken knobs and the INPUT, HEADPHONES and EXT. SPEAKER jacks without nuts and washers... I can´t go further because I have NO IDEA how can I get those two metal parts separated...

Any help would be highly appreciated.

Carlos,

I haven't pulled one of these amps apart --- but aren't there set screws or tangs holding the board onto the chassis? Maybe they are hiding under some wiring looms or components.

Good hunting!
