I posted earlier and thought I found out the problem was my Gibson but its not. My Deville 212 when on makes a humming buzzing type noise but when I touch my strings, bridge, pickups, input jack, the cable jack on my guitar or the amp it stops. Any ideas what the problem is?

Ummm, you said before that when you tried another guitar, there was no noise.

You also didn't answer my question; is the ground plug missing from your power cord on the amp?
