Hi all

Im stuck in a dilemma of which amp to buy i have the chose of:

- Blues Deville 4x10
- Twin Reverb 65 reissue
- 70's silverface twin reverb
- 76 pro reverb

i'm using a fender tele and jaguar and i go through a big muff fuzz pedal but i don't smother the signal in the fuzz. I'm after an amp which can handle being played loud with the fuzz but cleans up well with that nice clean drive kinda like jimi hendrix style.

Any helpful tips are welcome

ta

The 70's Twin or the Pro Reverb over the DeVille or Reissue any day.

+1

A silverface Super Reverb might also work.

Go Twin SF (preferably non master Vol model).

If you leave the Master Volume on 10 it makes no difference. I had one for over 30 years.

I'd opt for the 70's twin reverb silverface.

Twin reverb is way toooo heavy and too powerful .

If you want clean sound and never move the amp, OK

SF Twin all day. The Pro Reverb is excellent too, and so is the Twin RI to be honest.

DeVilles and the entire Hot Rod series sound good for what they are but they have lots of design issues, unfortunately.
