I am currently looking for an amp and I am in need for your help.
I am looking for that fender tube tone which many speak highly of. I am moving from a mustang 2 of which I liked the idea of having access to a headphone and aux. inlet port for back track playing.
I see blackstar HT 1 and 5 R does this, does Fender have these amps

Here is a link to Fender's current amp line that you can browse.

To be honest, fender has the worst web site of all the amp manufactures out there.
No pics very little info

Fender's links default to the country the user is in.

Not all products on the US site are available in all countries. Not all websites are as well laid out as the Fender US one. Some, like Aus, don't even list recommended retail prices, or even have a price list available anywhere on the site.

All you have to do is enter the desired URL:

http://www.fender.com.au/

Apparently Fender Australia has a different policy regarding priceing information:

http://www.fender.com.au/prices.php

The prices on the Fender US website are meaningless since no one pays those prices.

The US link still isn't useful if the amp he's interested in isn't sold in Trindad. Then there the issues of potential mains voltage differences, meaning an import needs a transformer.

Yes, Aus pricing policy is "interesting". They don't tell us what they are, and retailers charge whatever they like, on top of a loaded wholesale price. It's one reason we get charged $2000 for Am Stds and $950 for Mexican guitars. With slight discounts. Whoopee.

The OP owns several pieces of Fender gear. Where he bought them, I don't know or care. Perhaps from one of the major dealers on the Internet, in which case the US site would be the best choice.

And if you care to check, Trinidad-Tobago uses 115 VAC at 60 hz so American amps will work just fine.

Instead of criticizing my recommendations maybe you could try helping the OP instead.

Did I crit? I though I just pointed out what the links do, and what some issues related to that might be. Because it is for some, and they may like to be aware of it.

headphone and aux jack is not so important
looking far a beautiful clean sound, and at the same time not break the bank
fender blues jr3 vs blackstar ht5r

Deluxe Reverb re-issue.

No doubt about it.

Trini,

The Blackstar HT-1 and HT-5 are flea-power amps. There is nothing in Fender's current line-up that comes close. I believe both amps use anode-strapped 9-pin gain stage tube in the output section. Like the reverb portion of most Fender amps.

The closest thing to this setup is a single-ended 6V6GT Fender amp. Like a Champ. But, the tone will will be different than the Blackstar's. If you like the tone of the HT-1 or HT-5, maybe go that route.

Its very hard to determin the tone of the blackstar ht 1/5 on you tube, yet i have heard many good videos of the blues jr.
Not sure if its me but 99% of the reviewers on youtube only demonstrates heavy rock, metal type of music with the ht where as on bluesjr, have many different types of music played.
I am trying my best to stay away of those amps that produce heavy metal , space age noise
I want clean, under $600 usd

Btw what do you mean by flea power amps
