I have a hdr, i am getting horrible tube rattle from v1. I have an jj803 12ax7 in it atm, i have tryed 5-6 tubes in v1 to get rid of it with no luck, the 803 rattles less than the others. i tryed some automotive o rings which helped alittle bit. the only thing that kills the rattle is pressing up against the tube. for some reason whatever tube i have in v1 vibrates really bad none of the other preamp tubes vibrate at all.

First of all, a JJ 803 is a long plate tube and is NOT recommended for use in a combo amp, particularly in V1 which is the most sensitive to noise. If pressing against the tube stops the noise, it sounds to me like the tube socket needs to be retensioned to hold the tube tighter. Unplug the amp, drain the power supply filter caps and insert a small jeweler's screwdriver into each connector in the socket and twist gently to tighten the connector. Reinsert the tube and keep your fingers crossed.

Yes.

Use a decent 12AX7 (short plate). I like JJs. I also use these on my BDRI and 5F6A Bassman clone:

btw i fixed the crackling sounds that you helped me with, bad solder joint on v2. i checked all of the solder joints then turn the amp on for a few hours got it good and warm, and check them again and sure enough i had a loose joint.
