I play hard rock and heavy metal and I want to replace the speakers(2-12"Yamaha)in my '76 Fender Silverface Twin Reverb tube amp does anyone have any sugesstions?
I have played through several different amps at my local music stores and I like the Celestion Vintage 30's and the Celestion G12T 75's and I was thinking about getting one of each would that be wise.
My gear is:
Jackson Dinky Reverse EMG 81(Bridge)EMG 85(Neck)
Jackson Pro DK2MHT Seymour Duncan JB(Bridge) Seymour Duncan 59(Neck)
1976 Fender Silverface Twin Reverb AMP
Digitech HardWire TL-2 pedal.
Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I've got a v30 and a g12 80 on my 212 cab that I use for my bandmasters and that seems to be a pretty killer combination for me. We cover stuf from the 50's to current and they handle it all pretty well.
