I recently ordered a BJ III from Amazon as new. When I received the amp it was double boxed and the Fender shipping box had a pink slip on it about quality control. When I opened the container I noticed that the manual had a yellow streak in it a little over an inch wide. It was covered and put inside a plastic sleeve. The same yellow line is on the BJII spec tag. The top of the actual amp has a faded stain that you can tell with direct light. The serial number starts with a B but is unaltered? Does that mean it is B-Stock? I'm wondering if the box was opened and peed on by an animal or something and returned? The amps seems to be working alright. I'll be uploading some pictures in a few. Thanks.

Doesn't sound "new" to me.

I'd send it back for exchange or refund.

Based on the pics, that ain't new and looks to be a small amount of water damage!

Return it immediatly, don't even think about keeping it.

Thanks for the help you guys. I think your right about it being opened and water damage. Which sucks because I'm pretty impressed with the new Blues Junior. I'm gonna return it. :(

I think I might save for a '65 Deluxe Reverb because MIM has been hit or miss for me and returns are in PITA. Thanks again.

Best of luck, let us know how it goes.
