I have a 12 month old Blues Jr III. Lovely amp...but the rubber 'dog-bone' handle snapped last night while packing away after a gig.
I have probably only picked the thing up 40 times in total. Surely carrying handles are meant to last longer than this!
Has anyone else had this problem? Any idea if replacements are available?
HELP - not easy lugging it around under my armpit!

First off, I would try taking it back to where you bought it and see what they say. If they won't replace it under warranty...Fender amps have a 5 year warranty. If nothing else, they should be able to sell or order you a new handle, they are available.

I have heard of this happening a couple times here on the forum, but not too often.

Thanks - I live in Phuket and ordered the amp from 900kms away in Bangkok. I'll see what can be done re ordering.
Still thinks it is very poor design for a handle to snap after such a short time...

Due to the geography involved and the bureaucratic hoops you'd need to jump through, you might have that handle more quickly if you merely ordered one via Ebay. They're about ten bucks or so.

Just a thought......

Get a nice double stiched leather handle.

That would be very nice indeed - just need to find a place to do it!
