Ha! I won't soon forget it! Unfortunately the bank is broken for a little while. The good news is there are currently NOS RCA 12AX7s in V1 and V2; I can hardly complain.

Just try an E-H 12AY7. About $25. You can get a good NOS one (about $40) later. :D

A small update: it appears the pictures I have been using are dated. The amp had since been serviced by Mark Baier to remove the ground circuit. There is all but a plug where the switch would be, just as Bill had done. :wink:

If the power cable is correctly wired and grounded, you'll never miss that switch.
