I have recently taken up bass and rather than spend a few grand I don't have on a bass amp, I have been using my mid-90's Blues Deville 4X10.

I have found the tone I like and it seems to perform well. I haven't cranked the volume to "playing with a drummer" level yet.

Should I be worried about blowing my amp or the speakers? I want to continue using the Deville as a guitar amp too.

Let me know if i should quit using the Deville for bass.

Thanks!

Yeah man, don't mess with such a nice amp! The DeVille's are based on Fender Bassman but with so many things changin over the years (insert electrical jargin here) they are guitar amps only.

Nice amp though! Get a guitar goin out it!
