Will do. while I love Mojo, the switchcraft jack they sell with their speaker wiring kits is short so you can't get it through a 1/2 cab back. I can't solder at all, so at my amp guy's shop so he can replace and solder correctly.

You need the longer Switchcraft jack with the 3/8" threaded sleeve for use with vintage Fender cabinets. You can find them on Ebay -- usually for cheaper than Mojotone's robber-baron prices.

Just ordered a pair of speakers for my CVR today. Weber recommended the same combo: one 10F150 and one 10A125. I was skeptical, but then realized I had an attenuator harness for the Bassman, so I hooked up two speakers at a time and ran them from the CVR to test out whether I liked those two speakers together OR the pair of 10A125's.

Man, you just can't go wrong with that 10A125 and 10F150 combo. Just something about the way those speakers work together. The 10A125's together sounded very nice - clear and articulate. However, when I switched one to the 10F150 it suddenly gained big punch in the bass frequencies and a nice sparkle on the highs.

AND, as an added bonus, I was able to A/B the Webers against the stock Jensens almost side-by-side. The results were interesting. I had always thought the Jensens were pretty good in the CVR. Both sets of speakers are fairly close at low volumes (below 2). It's when you get the amp up louder and it starts to OD that the difference becomes glaringly apparent. Jensens lose definition and while the speakers are overdriving, it's not a pleasing tone when compared to the Webers. The Weber speakers sound fuller, MUCH more bass and punch.

It was shortly afterward that I submitted my order.

If you enjoy those Webers now, just wait until you've logged forty or fifty hours on them and the break-in process is complete.
