It's been quite a while since I installed JJ's and a cannibes Rex in my
FSR DRRI ltd, and I must say I digit.
The JJ's adds brightness and "harshness" but tight bottom end, however
the CR speaker tames the highs so it leaves a nice round top end a nice
round bottom, but tight. And can handle a little more gain, it also adds a
little more headroom.
Next I'm trying some new tads. I had tried my buddies tad used ones
but had a rattle in one of the tubes. Out of curiosity I wanted to try
JJ's , even though it had quite polarized opinions.

I loved the C-rex so much in my DRRI that I now have a pair in one of my 2x12's That I play My bandmaster, bassman, Traynor head through

I had some sweet RCA's for power tubes.

I got the vintage bug and now I'm hooked on them ! (vintage fenders)

my ignorance
