Cool! Congrats on a great choice. The BJr is one of my favorite small amps. Can you give us some details, like which tubes and speaker you have, and what kind of sound that you like, distorted or clean? I figure you have GT tubes, but which flavor of preamp and output, like Sovtek, EH, and output tube range (1 to 10) etc? :)

Bluesbreaker...nice score. I sold mine a while back (first version, with Tweed and MIA) and it did have some nice tones in it and my Esquire loved that thing! I regret letting it go, but it led me to my first Bantam amp so...

Enjoy your new amp.

I have a nos bjr tweed, I installed a Jensen p12q I took out of my FSR DRRI ltd Ed
and sounds awesome, in fact I like that speaker better in that amp than the DRRI.
It's my fav lil killer amp.

The standard "Lightning Bolt" speaker and Std GT tubes. I've already got a Billm Standby switch. Its getting a retube with JJ's from EUROTUBES. The SRV kit. Cannabis Rex speaker is next. I play Blues. Delta, and Texas style. Want Clean and some serious spank with my TS808. Sorry for the late reply. Too mucho thing happenin' right now. Thx Guys!

Got a Gold Rush on order, returned a Fizzbox MIII, while I wait, I have a stock black BJIII. WOW, Very nice sounds off of a proline Gretsch! It is the real deal, I play low level cleans and this amp does it very smoothly, I do expect that with the Gold Rush, I should even hear a difference with the greenback in her. But this amp stock sounds great! Have treble pretty low, TV Jones Classics are very snappy! Congrats on your new amp!
