When I turn the reverb on my Blues Junior all the way down to 1, there's still a small but noticable amount of reverb present. Sorry if this is a stupid question, but if I want a completely dry sound with no reverb at all, can I simply unplug the reverb pan, or could that harm the amp?

Don't know if this helps, but I also have a Blues Jr, and when I turn the reverb down to 1 it is completely off, or dry. Maybe yours needs tweaking by an amp tech? I believe it has a 5 year warranty. Good luck.

If you don't want/use it unplugging should not hurt the amp.

Mine is completely off in the "1" position too. Are you sure it's the reverb and not a microphonic tube?

Thanks for the replies, I've tried unplugging the reverb pan and it sounds fine, and completely dry, so I guess it's something wrong with the reverb control.

Yep, you need a different reverb pot. That one just doesn't go off at full counterclockwise.
