Post subject: Blues Jr Top Panel???

I have a 98 Blues Jr. It works fine, but the top panel (chrome plate pots poke through) is pitted, who know why??? Rough enviroment???Does anyone know if there are replacement panels available. Thanks for all replies.

Hi 10drum,

Hard to say why the face plate is pitted, could be from use or environment or could be a poor chrome job from the factory.

Thank you for the reply. I emailed Sandy. I think this amp was played out alot in smokey bars and had a few drinks spilled on it. The pots all work well and there aren't any signs of contamination in the amp housing. It just has that beer/smoke/urnal cake/cheezy bar smell. I picked it up cheap, I'm going to install a few mods, clean it up, and use it, or perhaps give it to my son. Thanks again.
