Its been eating away at me for ages...I love the Deluxe Reverb but getting it above 5 on the volume level causes sound guys to have fits and nervous breakdowns...I was using a Formula 5 pedal and loved the sound so in the end I thought...why have a pedal that sounds like an amp i want...when I can just buy the amp itself...so I did the trade and Stan at Guitar Factory in Parramatta in Sydney did me a great deal...Im a happy man

Pics must be on a publicly accessible site such as PhotoBucket. Once uploaded, copy the "IMG" code for a picture and paste into your post. Then when you click "Preview" or "Submit" the pics will be visible. The code will look like the one in the code box below, and for PhotoBucket, hover the pointer over the picture and a menu with codes will appear, left click the last code and "copied" will appear briefly, then in your post, right click and select "paste". If you have already clicked on the pic in PhotoBucket to enlarge it, the code menu will be on the right.

Code:

If I paste that code (without the code box) the pic will show, like this.

Thanks for that...I will get around to it.
What amazes me is the way people make a judgement regarding equipment based solely on what they see and read on Youtube...I wasnt sure about the tweed thing until I sat down and played through one

Great point, sound is more important than looks. :!: In that case, post a sound sample or it didn't happen.

Congrats Mate!

If you want to, email me a jpg (or several) and I'll host it and post it up in this thread for you.

I haven't seen or played a Tremolux but the local shop had a '57 Deluxe I played through and that was a beautiful little amp.

Cheers,

Snowy

Congrats...nothing like a NAD!! Would sure like to hear your thoughts on the sound of the amp. Enjoy the new amp!

Thanks gang...pretty amazing sound...I just love being able to make the same cool sounds that I heard on all my favorite old songs...Ive never been into patches,edits...blah blah...all respect to people that can do it, but I run an ME70 by Boss in front of the amp for the sake of some of the sounds I need to create with the band Im playing in...but I can't even get interested in creating patches for that...I run stompbox mode.
Ive only played it at home so far but its a killer as you would expect.
Im off the road till 25th jan after which I will post a full review.
Cheers
