Hello guys, im new in this forum obviously.. I just recently bought a hrd 3 limited edition, im just wondering if anyone could help or could explain me why my amp makes a strange noise when switching from drive channel to clean channel. You could hear kinda clicking sound coming out from the amp. [color=#0000FF] :?:
I know a lot of you are very helpful. Thanks keep on rocking the free world.

Since there is a mute circuit, this is not normal. Your amp is under waranty, bring it back to the dealer.
:)

Mine does this too sometimes. You might search the forum as I think this has come up before- might be tube related. As I recall it might also depend on how I tap the switch- If I am quick it is OK, if I am a little slow I get that pop. Weird. I am kind of going on memory here as I don't use that drive channel much.

I find this happens when the master is set high and drive knob is set low. Try using your master knob as , well a master volume for your crunch channel, keeping it more in line with the volume knob setting. Does that make sense?

Worth a shot. I find this problem is intermittent. That might explain it.
