Hello,
I have a Pro Junior (not the III) and you have to turn the volume up to 6 before you hear anything (and that is with the guitar volume turned all the way up). I changed the tubes to JJ EL84's and Tung-Sol 12AX7's and still the same thing. Here is something even weirder, I took the 12AX7 tubes out of my Blues Junior and put them in the PJ and nothing. No sound whatsoever! I know those tubes work because the Blues Jr works just fine. In each case, you can see that the tubes are glowing.

I'm clueless now as to what this could be.

Thanks,
Anthony

" The tubes do glow orange. "

You have some output tube/bias issue. Mebee take the puppy to a good tech for a checkup?

Good luck! :D

Thanks BMW2002Ti, I will take to the local shop and let them have a look inside it and see what the heck is going.
