My informative post let everyone here know just where most current Fender amps in general are built and where -- SPECIFICALLY -- the new Supersonics come from (which is the gist of this thread).

In what manner does your retort enlighten anyone as to the topic at hand?

:?

Why don't we just let it ride bro? I mean, I don't come on here and start jacking off with a chip on my shoulder dude. You're no more special than anyone on here, period! This is an open forum for all pal! Your post suggested that they were manufactured all other the planet, fine! I simply pointed out that ORIGINALLY the Hot Rod series you had on your cute little list! (I'm sorry, I'm laughing as I'm posting this!) What is the beef, sir? You seem to know your stuff, fine! I come on here to find info on gear from people who know like you. I'm an American and, I refuse to be bullied or frightened. Can we just all get along? I happen to think that the Super Sonic is one of the new bitchen amps that Fender makes, that is how I came to post on this thread but, it appears that someone has taken it personally. If you feel I'm in question, please contact Fender and have them ban me from YOUR forum rj!

It's now apparent why I had you on my ignore list.

So with that I'll merely bid you an "adios otra vez, pendejo" and move on.

Have a nice......whatever.

The parts are probably manufactured around the world and then assembled here in the USA -- a "product"/production of the USA!

...nothing to press the button over.

Edit:
There was another post above mine that seems to have been removed. My post certainly wasn't directed to RCB-CA-USA.

Using a general description, there is no risk of the wrong country of manufacture.

We all prefer Fender product made in USA, it is part of the legend.
But the reality of globalization ......

Translation with the help of Google

In other words the truth is not the truth simply because you don't recognize it to be! The SS is made in the USA with Chinese electronics!

Good point Cap47. I understand that there is some kind of legal threshold that has to be met before putting "Made in USA" on products. Seems that this one might be close to the edge as far as exactly how much is made in the USA. As Retroverbial pointed out, likely that the cab was MIM, plus most of the parts are largely foreign made, so.... :?:

Usually, if you pack/label/ship the amp from the US it's gonna be "made in the USA".

Cheers

Should we understand that Squier amp or other made in China are ship directly from China to the Fender dealer like Guitar Center that's why they kept "made in China" on back panel ?

They don't pass by a Fender distibution center in USA ? If they pass by this center they should remove the Made in China sticker ?

In Canada a product "pack/label/ship" from Canada can't be named " Made in Canada"

That's a good point. Whichever label is applied to an amp allows for different price points to be established. Granted while amps labelled "Made in USA" are generally of better quality, are there really a fair number of upgraded components with more extensive labor that go in to them to merit the price hike above a product "Made in Mexico"?

The price suggests so, but can the average customer really be certain?

No, he can't. They say that the country of origin must be the main contributor in the manufacturing of goods. But if you take goods from China, assemble them and pack them, you're going to contribute the most. Means: it's going to be made in XYZ, even if it's all made of Chinese parts.

Cheers

Made in US =

* 51% of parts manufactured in US
* Assembly of unit must be in US
