Have a 25R and had a cabinet built with 2 10" Bose 4 amp speakers and 2 3" auto speakers (I didn't do this, but am stuck with it). Can I use the contacts on the Frontman speaker to connect this cabinet. The wattage on the speakers is high. Neither this or my 2 Marshall 30W amps have a speaker plug port.

And those 3-inch speakers still work ok? Unless they are high-powered piezo or some such things, a guitar amp usually blows them sky high, in a short time.

Bose speakers are HIGHLY over-rated, IMHO. Usually used in car hi-fi systems. I'd go for either Weber 10F150 or Kendrick Black Frames, if they will fit. And forego the 3-inchers. Unless you want to use the amp for acoustic guitars.

I would not connect extra speakers to the speaker terminals of that amp. If you lower the impedance of the speaker load on a solid-state amp (which you will do if connecting the extra speakers to the existing speaker terminals) you can and will fry your amp. According to the schematic, the 25R has an external speaker jack, which when used, disconnects the internal speaker. Do you even know the impedance of the odd cabinet? If the cab is 8 ohms, plug it into the external speaker jack.

If you had one of the older models from the 90's which were made in Mexico and were known as the Frontman Reverb, Then you could hook up a extension cabinet to it. Those had a Black Metal grille in the Front and IMO, were far superior to the current ones that are being made today , which explains why a lot of guitarists, myself included, mod them out with Eminence Rajun Cajun Speakers. No, I wouldn't attempt to hook up a extension cabinet to yours . If you want more power, just get yourself a Rajun Cajun speaker. Not only will the amp sound much better and not break up at higher volumes, but it'll also increase the volume as well. They only cost 70 bucks and are a worthy investment for that amp, trust me on this one.
