The reverb on my Custom Vibrolux Reverb appears to be not working. This happened once before and the problem solved when I changed the V3 tube. This time, I swapped another tube into V3 and still no reverb. When I kick on the footswitch and turn the reverb knob up, I can hear the hiss increase as I get toward max, however there is no 'verb in the signal. Amp works fine otherwise - no problem with the vibrato.

Suggestions?

Okay... :? I unscrewed the reverb tank and took it out to check the connections. Wiggled the RCA connectors and checked inside - everything looks intact and connected. Pushed the two tiny electrical harness plugs in there down onto their pins really good. Put it all back together and.... REVERB.

Nothing worse than an intermittent problem.

1/2 V4 is use for reverb too.
Do what Powdered Taost Man write first.

Or probably a bad solder on V3, if you have to replace it , original V3 still good maybe ? I mean putting a new V3 make solder working for a while ( ? ).

Bah, it's still under warranty so I'm not about to start mucking about with a soldering iron and void said warranty in the process. If it happens again it'll take a trip over to the authorized service shop.

Why did you not say that before , yes go to see a Fender authorized service. It could take many in and out if the tech is not very good.

I'm glad to hear it was nothing serious, I just ordered a new CVR from Guitar Center today, it's going to be my Christmas present from my family.....(the only part that sucks about it is, I can't play it til Christmas)..... :?

I had a similar issue with my Blues Jr. a week or so after I got it, the RCA plugs must not of been pushed all the way in, some moving around, and high volume playing shook them loose enough that it would cut in and out, I pushed the plugs in tight, and it hasn't given me a problem since.....
