Good day,

Anyone knows who makes the newer blue label speakers for fender?
I believe it' Emminence. Anyone know if these were ever used in the fender twins?

Thanks
Newlife

This really depends on the amp model, some have alnico blues, some have celetions, some are ceramic eminances. The one you described sounds like a ceramic eminance.

Is there numbers on the rim of the speaker, those are EIA codes. If it has a 67 in it, it is probably an eminance. The link below explains the different codes so you will know which speaker is which.

That is the case....it's an Emminence because of the number 67 on the side of the magnet..

How can I find the model?

We might be able to figure it out if you give us all the numbers/letters/etc that are on the speaker.

Good morning Stratman

the numbers on the side of the magnet are;
67-00430232 then a little further to the right reads G1
there are some other numbers on the label as well
above the number I gave you are the numbers 12774.

thanks
newlife....

Newlife15...the G1 reference is the metal type. Not sure about the rest, but here is a site on eminences that should help you find out more than you probably want to know...

No thanks necessary...that is what this forum is all about. I have learned (and sometimes re-learned stuff I forgot) on here.
