I recently bought a Super-Champ XD guitar amplifier (or SCXD as they are known here..) and my question is : (How) can I connect headphones? I need to practice (a lot) silently and it would be a shame not to be able to use my new amp.

Is it possible to use the Speaker Out connection, and if so what properties should the headphones have as to not damage either the tubes in the amp or the headphones themselves...

Any ideas anybody?

I think Weber makes a unit that allows you to connect headphones to your tube amp. You can buy it right on their website. I wouldn't be plugging headphones directly into the speaker output. www.tedweber.com. It's called a headphone tap.

Right--the output tubes need a speaker-like load all the time, so the Headphone Tap will provide that.
