I am thinking about purxchasing one of these late this year. Does any one own one or have experience using one? Thoughts? Pro' and Con's? In particular how well does it handle pedals especially an OD and A Fuzz as well as a Wah? Thanks guys.

Oh and am using a MIM Telecaster with stock pu's but am also contemplating a Tele Custom or some kind of dual humbucker Epiphone.

thanks gentlemen.

It' can handle any pedal you throw in front of it. I had a '66 BF for many years and the only problem I had was when I got into a bad batch of Sovtec 6V6 tubes. Finally figured out what the problem was and tossed them, every single tube. The tubes were so bad that about every few weeks one would blow and I'd be replacing a grid resistor, a fuse and a tube. In those days I kept lots of tubes on hand because I did most the work on our bands equipment. First I thought the bias was off but checked over and over and it was in spec. I finally started running 6L6's in it and it worked fine but wasn't as clean as I wanted. Thats about the time if figured out the damn tubes were the problem. Picked up a set of NOS RCA 6V6's and it work as good as new.

If you ask me I think for a few bucks more I consider a Vibroverb with 40 watts and 2-10's.

The DRRI will handle anything you throw at it. Sounds great and low volumes and really crushes with a CS3 compressor in front.

The only CON in my mind is not a fault of the amp but the manufactuer of tubes. Make sure you get a good set of properly tested tubes in there when you get it. I've seen tons of new amps with Groove Tubes in it that test low from the factory. New tubes and the thing rocks. The stock ones sound great don't get me wrong but you may not be getting all the amp has if the new tubes are 100%.
