Limited technical info is available on this new amp. I am curious as to the speaker specifications; specifically what is the hz output range produced? does it reach down to around 50hz and up to 500hz or more?

Is this sonic output range electronically modified when using the guitar, vocal, and accordian inputs?

I've seen a review that notes and complains about a distinct cabinet buzz on any 'D' Note. Has anyone else (or factory personell) experienced this and if so, is it being corrected?

This amp has been out for some time now and there are several threads about it here. Suggest you do a search.

From Billm Audio's "A Look Inside Fender's Excelsior", we get this: "...the input voicing is done right on the jack board. There is no voicing on the guitar input, padding (reduced signal) on the mic input, and a fairly heavy treble cut on the accordion input."

From the back of the Fender Excelsior owner's manual we get this: "Input Impedance: Guitar: 1M ohm, Mic: 200k ohm, Accordion: 50k ohm."

Putting them together we get this:

Guitar: No voicing, 1M ohm
Microphone: Reduced Signal, 200k ohm
Accordion: Heavy Treble Cut, 50k ohm

I've had no noise/buzzing problems with mine.

Lots of info here and on other forums. A google search will give you more info than you'll care to read.
Mine doesn't buzz excessively, and an Eminence Legend 1518 makes a huge improvement in sound.

I have been curious about the inputs on the Excelsior... may be picking one up soon!

The Mic input I would assume is intended for Bluesharp. Anyone tried it for vocals?

The Accordian input... I kind of assumed that was a joke or gimmick (not to incense any accordianists out there!) But does this really serve as a kind of "bright" input for guitar?
