Actually, there was a very clear and concise answer provided the next day after
OP asked the question, posted by a Fender Rep named Shane Nicholas.

Any Fender amp that's made somehwere other than USA will clearly state the country of origin on the back panel or tube label.

The Blues Junior amp was built in USA from approx. 1993 to 2003. Since then, they have been built in Mexico.

Around the time of the production move, we made a couple of improvements to the shielding and the Reverb, so the newer ones actually sound better to most people.

Thanks,
Shane

So about 24hrs was needed - not quite the 9 years that was quoted.

Has anyone ever heard of a Blues Jr. being made in the U.S. I was pretty positive that they are exclusively made in Mexico but some guy told me otherwise. I think he's full of it. Anyone know for sure?

I guess I'm full of it?

For not reading the thread and figuring out the question was answered .... Yes, you are.

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

They are also built in China now, that version has features such as the Fat Switch and Foot-switch option/ jack eliminated, to further reduce cost.

 I have been using Fender amps my entire career. I recently purchase a Blues jr Tweed with the Jensen speaker. I can' t say enough good things about the amp. It is loud and has been very reliable. I gig every week and have been using the Jr. I also have a Deluxe Reverb which I love and a Musicman from the eighties which I consider a Fender. The Blue Jr Tweed is a great amp regardless of where it is made

I have a blues Junior made in the USA. I’ll sell it in order to buy a Deluxe.

Tweed models are MiM, the US models were all black tolex as far as I recall.
