Hey guys,

When will Fender ever release a Blackface Champ??? This is the amp I want but used ones are going for around $600 to $800. I would gladly pay $800 for a brand new Fender Champ built to blackface specs in the custom shop. It would be killer. They have re-released just about every other amp imaginable, but this one. I would jump at a reissue!

How about anyone one else? Maybe Fender is listening!

You know, there are Champs and VC on EBay & CL. And with a minimal layout, you can get a new cap can, tubes, and speaker --- if you wish. And have a great little amp for YEARS and YEARS of consistent service.

I don't think Fender can equal that today, for under $1K. Certainly, not without some compromises --- like printed circuit boards. Which can be pretty cheesy, on their "low-end" stuff.

+1000000!!!

And the "new" re-issue Vibro Champ will depreciate (and continue to do so) during every year of ownership.

Meanwhile, the vintage model will hold its own in the value department, perhaps even rising over time.
