just picked up a new little amp this weekend. Trying to find more info on the age of it. Haven't opened it up yet.

It's a brown tolex and wheat grill Blues Jr., speaker is the 'made in italy' version. has a regular handle on top, not a dogbone. serial number is B-183180, limited edition, Made in Mexico

reverb is not working (but I use a pedal anyway) and I'm thinking of doing the basic BillM mods.

Hoping to make this my go to "little" amp, instead of the Pro Tube Super and '65 Super Reverb that I'm using now. Great amps but a little too big for some small venues.

anyone have experience with my particular version of Blues Jr?

Hi boonestunes,

For the reverb, make sure that the cables are plugged into the tank in the bottom of the cab, and into the correct jacks. Looking at the back of the amp, the red plug goes into the left jack on the back of the tank away from view.

Some amps have an QA inspection sticker inside the cab like the one shown below. If so, check the site for dating info.

Contact Fender with your serial number for more info. Ask for year made and specs.

Not sure if yours is the version III or not.

Por favor, disculpe mi español, no se llega a la práctica con mucha frecuencia.
