The 'Sweetwater' amp is simply a Fender Super Sonic 22 (22 watts; single speaker) with a different speaker (a V30) and different cosmetics. The 'twin' is an altogether different amp (100 watts and 2X12 speakers). I can't speak on the Egnaters, but detailed descriptions of Fender's amps can be had here: http://www.fender.com/products/search.p ... amplifiers plus many demos are on YouTube for most all of the amps.

I do own the standard Super Sonic 22 amp and can give it a good recommendation. I would never have a use for the twin @ 100 watts.

Well, I have a Supersonic Twin and it is far superior to the Supersonic 22 in my opinion, you get power, headroom, sound and some other really cool features. BUT this comes at a price, and I mean PRICE. It is expensive and also very heavy to carry around and it is TOO loud for midnight hour practices. But I guess the origional poster is looking for a SS22 and not a TWIN as they thought it was called.
