Hello,

I have a 65 DRRI and recently received an Orange Micro Terror head. I would like to get a 10" or 12" cab to play the Terror head through and was thinking about the Hot Rod 112 to use with the 65 and the Terror (Terror is 20W with minimum 4 ohm speaker).
Question: Would the Hot Rod 112 work well with the 65? I don't have a gigging need for the extension - just something to play with at home.
Thanks!

Should of work fine, if the power if the speaker isn't lower than the amp's power. I use a Ragin' Cajun for Micro Terror and other amps as well. The RC was previously taken to replace the stock in a Frontman 25R, not it has it's own cabinet and still use it sometime instead of the stock in a Frontman 65R. Sounds great fatter and a little dirtier, great in all occasions...

Hi monsterous,

The HRDlx ext cab has an 8 ohm, 80 watt, Celestion G12P80, and should be able to handle most any amp just fine, in particular the two amps that you mentioned.
