I have an Ultimate Chorus that has a scratchy volume pot. I have cleaner spray from Radio Shack. How do I get to the pot's to spray the contacts? I assume I must remove the chassis? I just want to inquire before attempting.

Thx

Not sure what you have there for cleaner, but I like Deoxit and rather than re-type everything, here's a link that's pretty easy to follow :

This stuff works great too. Good luck!

Thanks Miami Mike. I think I'm ok with the contact cleaner. What I need to know is how to get to the pots in this amp. I assume I need to take all the retaining nuts off of all the pots and plugs in the front panes, and then remove the 4 screws in the top of the amp. It looks like the chassis will then come out so I can get to the pots? I assume the pots are on a circuit board.

Anybody ever take apart a Ultimate Chorus to get to the pots?

Thx

No need to remove knobs and nuts, just unplug the speaker wires, reverb cables and cable tie-down, noting the connections of each so that you can reconnect to the correct places, then remove the chassis to access the openings on the back of the pots.

Por favor, disculpe mi español, no se llega a la práctica con mucha frecuencia.
