I finally took the plunge on an amp, the fender 65 princeton reverb reissue. I got a great deal on a second hand one with a limited warranty from a uk guitar shop. I was after a vintage vibro champ or champ but i couldn't find one I liked and the uk prices are very expensive! I have had some health problems so i thought i would treat myself

so yesterday on the day of delivery at around three in the afternoon my waterworks packed up. Because i had spinal surgery the week before back to hospital I went and i'm still here now trying to sort out my back/problem. The amp came about half an hour after i left for a and e.

so my new amp is sitting indoors gathering dust whilst i'm drugged up to the eyeballs eating hospital food. still it could be worse.

Sorry for the post but i'm ranting!

Tom

It doesn't get much worse than hospital food, Tom......they buy the crap that the airlines won't take.

Get well soon!

Thanks arjay, the drugs are helping me get through the food!

I figure with the princeton that if the pcb messes up i'll try my hand at rebuilding it old school style using the existing chassis so no doubt i'll be picking your brain if it comes to that.

Thanks for the message.
