Four Eminence 12's in a box.

Pretty rudimentary.

The design does nothing to the sound? Sounds like every other cab out there?

The off-axis dispersion is marginally improved by the angled baffle board but beyond that it's nothing really remarkable.

Broadening the dispersion of a sealed 412 is noticable unless you always have the cab pointed straight at your ears. It doesn't change the frequency response of the speakers but it does change the way the cab sounds when you stand in different places.

In the hi-fi world, non-parallel internal surfaces prevent the formation of resonant standing waves and change the tone of a speaker/cab system. That can be audible for basses, keyboards, maybe baritone guitars but it's not noticeable for regular guitars (even tuned to E flat).

When I had a ported G-Flex 212 with its v-angled baffled, I slapped a couple of EVM12L's in it and did an A/B comparison against a pair of my EVM12L Thiele cabs arranged side by side like a 212. With guitar the only noticeable difference was a significant broadening of dispersion despite the different internal volumes of the two cab systems and the very different size and design of their ports.
