Remove the cabinet's rear panels.

Disconnect the speaker and reverb tank cables then remove the chassis.

Flip the amp face down on a clean padded surface.

Remove the speaker.

Install the replacement speaker.

Stand the amp back on its feet.

Re-install the chassis and reconnect the speaker and reverb tank cables.

Re-install the cabinet's rear panels.

Rawk out.

In addition to great instructions given by Retroverbial, before removing the reverb cables, mark the tank where the reverb cables connect to be sure to get the cables plugged into the correct jacks when reassembling. Oh, and the black speaker wire connects to the negative (-) speaker terminal, marked on or near the speaker terminal.

+1

If the wiring harness uses bayonet clips, use only gentle persuasion to remove them -- DO NOT YANK THEM OFF!

If you're soldering the leads directly to the speaker's terminals, tin the wires beforehand and use only the minimum amount of heat necessary to produce a solid connection.

Is that pretty much the same process for the BDRI?
