My amp has lost sound output. Put it in the shop, and they found nothing.

:?: Nothing? I'd seriously find another shop. It could be something as simple as a blown fuse or a power tube problem.

Perhaps your guitar is not making contact with the switch or the output jack? You may need to clean any contact points. Check that your cable is good by wiggling it. Clean the connectors on the cable.

They found nothing? Does that mean it worked when they tested it? Or does that mean they couldn't figure out why it didn't work?

I'm not sure if this is applicable but I'll pass it along in case it may be of any help.

I bought my Vibro Champ XD three months ago, brought it home, took it out of the box, played for about 20 minutes, and then it went silent. I took it back immediately and the clerk told me that he's seen this sort of thing before and it turns out to be a faulty tube. I swapped it for another one in a sealed box so I don't know if the problem was indeed a faulty tube but perhaps this is something to consider?

Cheers!
BM
