I have a first edition American DeVille 410. I used to own the Deluxe 112 but after a couple gigs quickly needed more sound. I know that the Cabinet for the Deluxe doesn't make your amp louder, but boosts the low end. This just seems ideal to pair up the 112 cabinet with the 410 DeVille. They're even the same diameter in width, so they'd fit perfectly. My question was asking if anybody out there has tried this out before?

The schematic

http://support.fender.com/schematics/gu ... ematic.pdf

shows that the amp is designed to handle an 8 ohm speaker load when plugged into either the main or external speaker jack. If an 8 ohm load is plugged into both jacks, the speakers are connected to the 4 ohm transformer tap.

Plugging in the 112 cabinet with the main speakers plugged in will work just fine. Whether or not it sounds good this way is your decision.

If you are talking about adding the Fender HRDlx ext cab with the Celestion G12P80, it will add a tremendous amount of low end, and should be a great match.
