Mine was made in mid 80's in Japan. I get some pretty good quacky tones out of it with my Tele, it's pretty good sounding little SS amp. Just wondering if anyone else here has one.

I had a Sidekick Switcher a while back, bought new in '89. It was made in Taiwan, around 35 watts, with a US-built 12" Eminence speaker and a decent reverb tank. It was great little practice amp and as reliable as any Fender amp I've ever owned. The clean channel was great but the gain/OD side of the house was a little on the "metallic-sounding" side. Still, if you have one they're definitely a keeper. Mine had a headphone jack -- a very handy feature for figuring out riffs or arrangements late at night.

Yeah mine has the headphone jack but no reverb unfortunately. And yeah I'm not blown away by the overdrive on mine either. It does sound pretty nice clean with a Tele or Strat run through it though. It's also quite loud considering how lightweight and small it is.
