The Supersonic 60 and the Supersonic 22 are two very different amps. The 60 being a 6L6 60 watt....the 22 being a 6V6 22 watt. I also prevoiusly owned a 60 and had no problems whatsoever.....just a bit more amp that I needed. I'm still hoping Fender worked the bugs out of the 22, as I'm still interested in it....

I have studied both the 100w Supersonics
and have owned both 60w Supersonics, . . . . .
I was assuming the 22w had more simularities.
Are you saying the circuit design is similar or too different to be compared,
6V6 or 6L6s aside?

..power tubes, wattage and speakers aside....where the 60 is voiced to emulate the Vibrolux and Bassman...the 22 is voiced to emulate the Deluxe Reverb. I assume the iron
is different in both amps as well. I have no direct experience with the new SS 100.

Thanks. I have not tried the 22, just it's bigger brothers.
Good to know there are more differences than I thought.
Thanks again. Toppscore :)

Thanks for posting Brad. I'm looking forward to test driving the 50 watt head and 4X12 cabinet.

Like a 4x10 Bassman on steroids

I haven't ever tried a Fender Bassman combo amplifier, I have heard good things about them though.

I have owned the Supersonic 60w Amp Head and the
Supersonic 60w 112 Combo amp, both with no humm/hiss problems at all.
In fact I encourage others to buy them.
Very happy with the Supersonic line.

Ha! Ironically, I ended up hunting down a minty, used blonde SuperSonic 60 combo locally (and only $650!) after buying my Mustang III simply because I liked the modeled amp's sound SO much that I was sure the actual amp would be great. And I was 100% correct, esp. considering the great sounds on the SuperSonic's Clean channel that aren't available on the Mustangs. Of course, the Burn channel simply ROCKS and is probably my favorite amp tone ever over a 40+ year playing career. Oh, yeah... and no hiss issues, etc. that I've noticed (beyond any 'normal' tube amp sounds).

Yup. VERY happy with both the SuperSonic 60 combo and my Mustang III. :D
