Put my Blues Jr. into a oversized dovetailed pine cabinet along with a Cannabis Rex speaker and all NOS/NIB GE tubes. Sorry for the crappy pics, I have a crappy camera.[img][/img]ImageImage

Looks like you did a nice job!!
I assume you noticed an immediate difference.
Did you try the BJ with the Rex in the stock cabinet?
Did you try the new cab with the stock speaker?

Looks gorgeous!

How do you like the sound of the larger cabinet? How are those GE Tubes?

I'm guessing you bought the cab from Carl's Custom Guitars  I bought an extension cab from him to match with my '67 Bassman Head, already mounted in a raw pine cab. Pictures here: viewtopic.php?f=12&t=73762

I really didn't like the stock speaker and I needed a speaker I could smoke in a pinch.

Did you build that cab yourself or did you buy one of Carl's?

I bought it from Carl, a good deal. My nephew is a cabinetmaker and he said he couldn't build one at his price. (he is no longer my nephew    ), I'm kidding nephew.

That's a very thoughtful bunch of changes you did for the amp. I bet it sounds great! Enjoy! 8)
