I have a Cyber Twin version 1:3. It works fabulously well for about 45 minutes and then the digital part of it goes totally random as all led's flash randomly and giberish flys across the screen. Could it just be be over heating? I use it live and loud. The output transformer is directly behind the digital part of the amp. Should I install a fan or just go for a new "motherboard". I totally LOVE this king of amps and want it to work dependably! thanks for any suggestions, Bruce

Where is our resident Cyber Twin expert when he could actually be helpful?

Maybe.

Ah, that'd be Tony Houston I think.

Haven't seen him around in a while though.

Yep Tony Houston. I try not to bring up "Johnny Static". Didn't like him much. I believe Tony's been using the CT forever and is quite knowledgeable about them. I just ain't into all the programming stuff. I'm pretty much just a plug-n-play player.

Don't like JS either. He seemed more interested in hawking his software than actually helping people. I was not aware of Tony Houston.

Well excuse me, I do have a life! Actually, I finally have a new job :).

As far as the CT, it could have 'loose/cold' solder joints, even this happens on 'all' tubes amps.

Thanks, I've been on my new job for two weeks and have already worked 20hrs of OT. I've been too tired to play guitar. I was going in today, but I'm not.

I'm working in a six man consulting/testing lab, but now I can put my CT in the shop.

On our last gig 2 1/2yrs ago, my CT fell over in the van and the data wheel was pushed in slighty. This causes the presets to sometime dial incorrectly. It still works fine, I recorded a lead track with it last week to a song I recorded last year, but never got around to finishing it 'I Want U (I Need U) http://soundclick.com/share.cfm?id=11861274.
