Hi! I've not followed modern Fender amps, but a couple.
I have owned/own Supersonics & G-DEC-30w's.

I notice the "Fender Blues" series of amps out on the market
and had a few million questions

I believe the Fender Blues Junior started shipping in 1995. Right?
Are any of the "Fender Blues" amps designed by Bruce Zinky?
Is there a "Fender Blues Senior"? Any "Fender Blues" amps of any kind produced by Fender BEFORE 1995?

Will someone please share the differences/history of the following Fender amps?
Blues Jr
Blues Jr II
Blues Jr III
Blues Jr Hot Rod

Blues Deluxe
Blues Deluxe Reissue

Blues DeVille
Blues Deville Reissue

***Have I missed any “Blues” amps? PLMK

==============

Questions:
Why does Fender produce "REISSUE Blues" amps for amps that are only 10-15 years old?
Isn't that a bit too soon?

Does anyone know Fender's marketing strategy for these amps?
Target guitarist/user market?
Low-Medium pricing markets?

Are ALL OF THE BLUES AMPS PCBoard based electronics???
Do the Blues amps compete directly against Fender’s Front Man amps?

Are any or all of the "Fender Blues" amps considered "good" amps?
How do the "Fender Blues" amps compare to the Fender '65 Reissues?
’65 Super Reverb Reissue
'65 Twin Reverb Reissue
'65 Deluxe Reverb Reissue
Princeton Reverb Reissue
1959 Bassman Reissue

All the Blues amps seem inexpensive. True?
Is the Blues amp just a good amp for the low-end pricing and production quality?

Does anybody swear that they love their Fender Blues amp . . . . .
even mo' better than similar Fender amps from the 1960s/1970s???

Thanks for any and all answers.
For sure, nobody has to answer everything.
Just interested if I should add an "Fender Blues" amp to my collection.

Do a search of this forum. There are dozens if not hundreds of threads on these amps available as they have been discussed ad nauseum.

If that is too much work, read "The Soul of Tone" by Tom Wheeler as he discusses these amps extensively. Just be sure to give him credit when you copy and paste his quotes.

BTW, there is no such thing as a Fender "Blues Series". These amps are all part of the Fender "Hot Rod" series as a simple check of the Fender website will show.

Bluesky.
Thank you for your kind response. At times, I view the forum differently than you do.
Therefore, my questions, inquiries, intentions, etc. may or may not at times
be different or the same as how you might or might not do something similar.

That said. I will purchase Soul of Tone and some other books, someday.
Searching the forum (and other forums and Internet sources) or not searching
those sources is something always considered before taking time to request info
from others ~ ESPECIALLY when starting a thread. Thanks for your interest.

Anyway, I decided to pursue the course taken, AFTER I made the choice/decision.
Simple as that.

Bluesky,
Do you know which amps were released first back in the 90s?
The Blues Deluxe and Deville or the Hot Rod?
I thought it was the BD and BDV.

As I explore more into my thread, following is some tiny scraps of Wiki info.
Seems as the Blues & Hot Rod amps change together and are similar priced.

The Blues Junior is a professional tube guitar amplifier introduced in 1995 by the Fender company. Fender frequently releases limited editions of the Blues Junior. All have the same electronic components and specifications but have cosmetic changes and often a different speaker, at varying prices. The Fender Blues Junior is most similar to the Fender Blues Deluxe, which adds a "drive" channel, an effects loop, and uses 6L6GC output tubes for 40 watts of rated output. The Fender Blues Junior was introduced before the Fender Pro Junior, but has entirely different circuitry other than EL84 output tubes rated at 15 watts. Fender introduced the Blues Junior in 1995 and has revised and updated the amp periodically since then. The Blues Junior history can be divided into two major categories: the early amps with green circuit boards and the later ones with cream-colored boards. The switch to the cream-colored boards reflects the change in where the amps were manufactured, from USA to Mexico.

The Fender Hot Rod Deluxe is a guitar amplifier manufactured and sold by the Fender Musical Instruments Corporation. It was introduced in 1995 as part of the "Hot Rod" line of guitar amplifiers and has been in continuous production since. This model, along with the Hot Rod Deville, were originally designated as F.A.T. ('Fender American Tube') amplifiers but this moniker was dropped in 2002 when production of this series of amps was moved from Corona, CA to Fender's Baja-Ensenada, Mexico manufacturing facility.

The Fender Hot Rod DeVille is a combo tube guitar amplifier manufactured and sold by Fender. It was introduced in 1996 as part of Fender's Hot Rod line of amplifiers, and since then has been in continuous production.

In 2010, Fender released an update to the Hot Rod Deluxe called the Hot Rod Deluxe III.

In 2010 Fender updated their line of hot rod model amps and released the Blues Junior III.

Wow. Thanks for clearing that all up. Meanwhile, while you spend your time copying and pasting all of the Internet's information about these amps into this forum, the rest of us will be actually helping people troubleshoot and repair problems with their amps or providing advice on how to get the best performance from them. So please, carry on.

LMFAO!

In the military they'd call that a "secondary" MOS.

I'm envious!

Right now, I'm only a spastic moron, in training to become a simple moron. But I aspire to achieve the level of clueless retard someday.

I'm sure a Blues amp would be fantastic addition to your imaginary collection Topp....

Or better still a fine start to your real collection!!! A blues Jnr would be a great upgrade to your... GDEC... And with the right cover on it and the right angle photo you could tell people it's a 57 deluxe....
