Eyy, Newbie to this forum.
I noticed on our Fender Twin the vibrato channel gives off a louder volume than the normal overall, also while the volume control on the channel is set on "zero" the guitar is still audible through the speakers.
So is this normal or what? Anyone know what it could be?

Try on another one. If you think it's an issue, bring back your amp to a respectable 7ender dealer for repairing. Your amp is 5 years warranty.

Normal, or at least not unusual.

Consider the extra gain stage in the "vibrato" channel as far as that channel being louder, and the reverb and vibrato circuits are in that channel too. Also, since tubes vary in gain from one tube to the next, V2 might have a little more gain than V1, so you can swap those two tubes to see if it makes any difference. Many volume pots don't quite have zero resistance when turned down all the way, so a little signal getting through isn't unexpected. Besides, why would you try to play with the amp volume turned all of the way down anyway? Just turn the guitar volume all the way down, and voila, no sound out of the amp.

Yea our warranty is expired by 12 years or so

thanks for that, its not an issue to me as long as the amp is meant to perform that way.

Input 1 on the vibrato channel has a higher gain stage. Its the same on the DRRI.
